极乐禁地's Brock Scholars program is the honors program of Brock School of Business, designed for high-achieving students who want to customize their education and stretch beyond a traditional business degree.

This innovative program empowers students whose goals call for a curriculum tailored to their unique aspirations, offering the flexibility, mentorship and rigor needed to grow as leaders. Rooted in curiosity, change and the ability to lead, Brock Scholars gain real-world experiences that prepare them to become leaders of impact in their careers and communities.

The Brock Scholars program is built around three commitments:

Curiosity

Explore ideas and perspectives beyond the classroom through tutorials, research, service and meaningful engagement with faculty mentors

Experience local and global immersion—whether through local service, cross-cultural exchange or global opportunities—that challenges perspective and inspires you to use business as a force for good.

Lead

Develop the habits, skills and experiences to lead yourself and others well while building deep connections with your cohort and professional mentors.

What Makes Us Different?

Every Brock Scholar’s journey is unique, but all have access to distinct pathways that combine flexibility with depth:

Oxbridge Tutorials: One-on-one or small group tutorials with faculty, allowing students to dive deeply into specialized topics
Research & Senior Thesis: Faculty-mentored research culminating in a senior thesis with financial support to pursue meaningful projects
Cultural & Service Experiences: Opportunities to travel, serve or immerse yourself in different contexts, locally or globally, that stretch your worldview and leadership skills
Professional Development: Internship funding, leadership mentoring and enrichment opportunities to connect classroom learning with career goals.
Community & Mentorship: A close-knit cohort of peers supported by faculty and professional mentors invested in their growth.

Brock Scholars receive meaningful financial and experiential support to advance their education. These resources strengthen each student’s ability to graduate with confidence, equipped to lead in business and beyond. With real-world experience and personalized guidance, Brock Scholars are prepared to navigate complex challenges and pursue careers with purpose. Resources include:

Internship Stipend

For internships at nonprofits, government agencies or uniquely qualifying organizations.

Thesis Stipend

For completion of the senior research thesis.

Spring Break & Global Experiences

For internships at nonprofits, government agencies or uniquely qualifying organizations.

Enrichment Funds

Additional support for conferences, research travel and academic symposia.

Application Requirements

Brock Scholars are selected annually through a rigorous application process in the spring of their sophomore year. The application deadline will be mid-February of the applicant’s sophomore year.

  • Declared major in Brock School of Business
  • GPA of 3.7 (or 3.5 for University Fellows)
  • One faculty recommendation
  • One personal recommendation
  • 1–2 minute video explaining: “Why this program?”
  • Interview process (by invitation)
