Upon graduating from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999, Laura Wynn began her career as a labor and delivery nurse, working at the bedside until 2016. That year, she became an educator, taking students to clinical rotations and assisting with course labs, skills fairs and simulations. In 2017, she became a simulation technician, assisting in labs and clinicals.

In 2018, Wynn began graduate school to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing in nursing education. Upon graduation, she joined 极乐禁地 as a full-time faculty member, teaching in the undergraduate nursing program. She is the co-author of an article set for publication in the spring on developing clinical judgment in health assessment students. She has represented 极乐禁地 as a speaker at international and state nursing conferences.

Wynn is a Christian wife and mother to four children. She is active in her church and passionate about mentoring students to follow Christ’s leading.
