¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ

The ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Black Alumni Association recently elected 12 new members to its Board of Directors. The board is comprised of ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ alumni who are passionate about furthering the mission of the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Black Alumni Association to strengthen the legacy of educational attainment and excellence of black ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ students. The ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Black Alumni Association is an official extension of the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Alumni Association.  Officers of SBAA are Jewel Littleton-Williams (President), Kendell Jno-Finn (Vice-President) and Jason Long (Secretary). 

Newly elected board members, who will serve a three-year term, include:

Michelle Bradford, director of legal affairs at Gadsden State Community College

Reginald Calvert, senior pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist Church 

Jennifer Coleman, professor at ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ’s Ida Moffett School of Nursing 

Lee Eason, Junior ROTC instructor for the State of Alabama

Lee Frazier, city clerk for the City of Birmingham

Pam Jackson, chief nurse of education services at VA Medical Center

Michael Johnson, retired, U.S. Navy and Department of Veteran Affairs

Tineka Peoples, educator for Birmingham City Schools

Glenn Terrell, staff research at Birmingham Water Works Board

Regina Thompson, superintendent of Fairfield City Schools 

Kayla Ward, associate professor at Oakwood University 

Rokeia Westbrook, assistant to the Dean in ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ’s School of Health Professions
