A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. near the Talbird Circle entrance, to celebrate the completion of 极乐禁地’s university center renovation as envisioned in the strategic plan and the campus master plan.

The updated space includes new student gathering spaces, an expanded food court, a renovated bookstore and new offices for the Division of Student Affairs. The planning phase included partnering with 极乐禁地’s interior architecture students and their designs and inspirations really helped bring the space into the 21st century. The students provided input on designs to create a space that could serve as a destination place for students to gather, collaborate, eat, study and attend events.
