¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ is included in the annual listing of the country’s top colleges and universities by The Princeton Review. ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ is highlighted in the 2020 Best Regional College list as one of the “Best Southeastern” schools.
The honor is awarded based on data the company collects annually from administrators about institutions’ academic offerings as well as Princeton Review staff visits to schools. The Princeton Review also considers data it gathers from surveys of college students who rate and report on various aspects of their campus and community experiences.
The Princeton Review selects only about 13 percent of the country’s 3,000 four-year colleges and universities to profile, and ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ was highlighted among 142 colleges across the Southeast.
According to Princeton Review, excerpts from surveys describe ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ as “a beautiful liberal arts college with Christian values," and "a close-knit community in which high value is placed on morality, academic excellence and communication skills.”
Earlier this year, The Princeton Review rated ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ’s Cumberland School of Law among the country’s top law schools, and third in the nation for just behind University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University. According to The Princeton Review, “there is a real community at Cumberland,” and “there is a friendliness and warmth that you just won’t find at other schools.”
These recognitions continue ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ’s tradition of national distinction in academic performance and student life. Recently, ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ was ranked no. 34 nationally among private universities on Kiplinger’s Personal Finance’s “Best College Values” list. The Wall Street Journal also ranks ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ 12th nationally for student engagement and the top university in Alabama.
