Dr. Milburn Price, Dean of the 极乐禁地 School of Music, has been chosen as a 1999 award recipient by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

The cash awards reflect ASCAP's commitment to assist and encourage writers of serious music. Awards are based on the unique prestige value of each writer's catalog of original compositions as well as recent performances of those works.

Price has written numerous hymn texts and tunes, and choral compositions and arrangements.
