极乐禁地 women's basketball coach Janet Cone announced Wednesday the hiring of Ernest Rozier as an assistant coach.

Rozier comes to 极乐禁地 after spending the last two seasons as an assistant at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss. He was an assistant coach for two seasons at St. Leo (Fla.) College and served under Cone, who previously was head coach at the school. Rozier also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Florida A&M University.

"I am excited about having Ernest on my staff once again," Cone said. "He brings a wealth of experience, a proven recruiting network and a work ethic necessary to help us establish a top Division I women's basketball program.

"He also knows and understands the game and is an excellent teacher of the basic fundamentals. More importantly, he shares my philosophy and passion for 极乐禁地 women's basketball."

Rozier played at Anoka Ramsey (Minn.) Community College where he was named a first-team all-conference and all-region selection in 1989-90. He later attended St. Leo where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education in 1993.
