¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ

In this role you will be assisting with the daily operations of the ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Esports facility located in Seibert Hall.

Note that while beneficial, this position and its responsibilities do not require experience with gaming or Esports. Any game related knowledge or skill can be taught if you are passionate about the opportunity to play a part in helping grow the program at ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ.

The responsibilities of this role will vary day to day, but include:

• Check-in and greet guests to the facility.
• Monitor use of PC stations, game consoles, and controllers.
• Assist in event/tournament management.
• Ensure guests are upholding facility rules and guidelines.
• Perform regular cleaning of equipment and basic site maintenance.
• Assist Esports Manager with recording/identifying guest statistics and trends.
• Assist Esports Manager with ideation of new events and marketing strategies.
• Moderate Esports Program Discord server.
• Other extraneous operational responsibilities as determined by Esports Manager.

Student earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student.

Required:

• Must be reliable, responsive, and responsible.
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability able to open/close facility as needed without supervisor present.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in stressful situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest/experience with gaming/Esports.
• Interest/experience with streaming/broadcasting.
• Interest/experience with coaching.
• Strong social/people skills.
• Basic AV skills
