The Community Engagement Data Specialist serves as a peer leader to promote community engagement and volunteerism among students. They assist with outreach, help students navigate the GivePulse platform, and support campus events or service initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Learn how to utilize GivePulse to promote Community Cadres, ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Gives Back, and other volunteer opportunities
• Learn how to utilize Basecamp and Trello in addition to GivePulse
• Participate in Preview Days, Cadre Orientation, and ¼«ÀÖ½ûµØ Gives Back
• Provide GivePulse technical support for students and partners as needed
• Help develop innovative strategies to operate GivePulse from a student’s viewpoint
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Student earnings will be paid biweekly in the form of a check or direct deposit payable to the student.

Qualifications Preferred Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient with various digital platforms (Canvas, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people including students and community partners

Hours:

• 8 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
